물푸레나무

넘쳐 난 계곡물 가라앉을 때쯤

물푸레나무 잎새에서 푸른 색소가 자랄 테지

처음에는 뿜어낼 줄 몰라

퍼질러 곳곳으로 흩어졌다가

검은등뻐꾸기 찾아와 한참을 앉아 있을 때쯤

아랫녘에서 치밀어 오른 바람이 뜨거워질 때쯤

숨 벅찬 상처

주변 나무들에게 나누질 못해

바짝 잎새를 조일 텐데

젖은 기운 잎맥으로 몰려 마른 잎새 물드는데

통통한 잎자루로 착한 시선 잔뜩 모아

눈매 시원해지는데

맑아진 계곡물 흙탕물 걸러낸 곳으로

아픈 상처 자주 떨구는 고개

손끝만 닿아도 툭 터져 쏟아낼 뭉침

저러다

터진 수액으로 당신의 무른 살점 비집고

푸른 상처로 몇 날 밤을 아파 잠 못 이루고

맑은 계곡 모두 새파래져

씻어내려면 또 몇 차례 비 쏟아져야 할지

저 빗속에서 목청 터지라 함께 소리 질러야 할지

When the overflowing valley water subsides
Blue pigments will grow on the ash tree leaves
At first, it doesn't know how to emit
Scattered everywhere
When the indian cuckoo comes and sits for a while
When the wind rising from the south becomes hot
Breathless wounds
Unable to share with the surrounding trees
The leaves will tighten up
Damp energy gathers in the leaf veins, dyeing the dry leaves
With plump petioles, gathering kind gazes
The eyes become refreshing
To the place where the clear valley water filters out the muddy water
Frequently lowering its head from painful wounds
Bursting and spilling out clusters at the slightest touch
Like that
With the burst sap, prying into your tender flesh
Suffering from blue wounds, unable to sleep for several nights
The clear valley turns entirely blue
Wondering how many more rains it will take to wash it away
Wondering if we should scream together in the pouring rain

시작 메모

계곡을 찾아 들어선다. 흙탕물이 가라앉으며 맑아진다. 물소리도 귓가에 가볍게 맴돈다. 물푸레나무 잎새를 바라본다. 아직 서툰 봄빛이 잎새 사이로 스며든다. 자연의 섬세한 변화가 기쁨이다.

검은등뻐꾸기가 찾아와 머무는 순간, 시간이 멈춘 듯하다. 뜨거운 바람이 불어오고, 나무는 홀로 상처를 견딘다. 고독한 생명력이 풍경을 만든다. 잎맥을 따라 흐르는 생명의 물길을 본다.

통통한 잎자루가 모은 착한 시선들이다. 맑아진 계곡물에 비친 나무의 그림자는 단정하다. 수액이 흐르고 상처는 푸르게 번진다. 빗소리에 섞여 들리는 생명의 외침이 좋다. 자연이 아픔을 어루만진다.

Entering the valley, the muddy water settles and clears. The sound of water lightly lingers in the ears. Looking at the ash tree leaves, the still clumsy spring light seeps through them. The delicate changes of nature bring joy.

When the indian cuckoo visits and stays, time seems to stand still. A hot wind blows, and the tree endures its wounds alone. The solitary vitality shapes the landscape. Observing the life-giving water flowing along the leaf veins.

The plump petioles gather kind gazes. The reflection of the tree in the cleared valley water is neat. Sap flows, and the wounds spread in green. The cry of life mixed with the sound of rain is pleasing. Nature soothes the pain.
