   동터 오르는 대설 지난 임천은
   참나무 낙엽으로 수놓은 황톳빛 산색이어서
   동해 바다의 기척만으로도
   환하여 새악시 홍조마냥 따습다.

   비탈진 나무로
   호수의 촉촉한 물기를 말리느라
   풀풀 진흙 먼지까지 들고일어나는
   말간 동이 눈부신 햇무리라
   뒤틀린 배알 보따리 끄집어
   밝은 가루를 흩뿌린다.

   붉은 혀 내밀 듯 솟구치는
   햇무리 갖춘 천지를 인양하는 아침 해와
   경건한 눈빛으로 마주하니
   이미 땀으로 젖어 무거워진 한짐의 몸이
   빛나는 황금빛 황토의 결 따라 스며든다.

   After the heavy snow, the forest begins to brighten

   The mountain hues are adorned with oak leaves on ochre soil
   Just the presence of the East Sea's waves
   Makes it radiant and warm like a maiden's blush

   On the sloping trees
   Drying the lake's moistness
   Even stirring up the dust of clay
   The clear dawn is a dazzling halo of sunlight
   Unpacking the twisted bundle of grudges
   Scattering bright powder

   Like a red tongue thrusting upward
   The morning sun lifts the world adorned with a halo
   Facing it with reverent eyes
   The body, already heavy with sweat
   Seeps along the golden ochre grains

시작 메모

대설 지난 임천의 새벽을 마주한다. 참나무 낙엽들이 수놓은 황톳빛 산자락이 동해에서 불어오는 바람에 설렘으로 물든다. 새악시의 홍조처럼 수줍고 따스한 기운이 산을 감싼다.

비탈진 나무들이 호수의 물기를 털어내는 모습이다. 진흙 먼지가 춤추듯 피어오른다. 공기 속에서 말간 동이 눈부신 햇무리가 되어 세상을 비춘다. 뒤틀린 배알 보따리로 밝은 가루가 아침을 수놓는다.

아침 해는 붉은 혀를 내밀듯 솟아오른다. 천지를 들어올리는 듯하다. 경건한 마음으로 장엄한 순간을 마주한다. 온몸이 감동의 젖어든다. 무거워진 몸이 황금빛 황토 물결을 따라 자연스레 스며든다.

Heavy snow meets the dawn of the past Imcheon. The ochre-colored mountain slopes adorned with oak leaves are tinged with excitement by the wind blowing from the East Sea. A shy and warm energy, like the blush of a young bride, envelops the mountain.

The slanted trees shake off the moisture of the lake. Dust of clay rises as if dancing. In the air, the clear dawn becomes a dazzling halo of sunlight that illuminates the world. Bright powder decorates the morning like a twisted bundle of resentment.

The morning sun rises as if sticking out a red tongue. It feels as though it lifts the heavens and the earth. With a reverent heart, one faces the majestic moment. The whole body is soaked in emotion. The heavy body naturally blends into the golden ochre waves.
