독락당 계정 원림을 걷다

계절마다 읽는 홀로 누리는 즐거움을 너는 모른다.

 

서둘러 누마루에 오를 생각을 일단 재우고

옥산서원, 천진난만한 추사의 글씨를 먼저 보는 것은

시퍼런 바위에 둘러싸인 용추의 물살이 건각임을

깊이를 알 수 없는 어둑한 먹먹함으로 안겨온다.

몇 발자욱 옮기며 윗물과 아랫물을 번갈아 서성이다

빛바래 붉은 기운으로 남은 세심대 바위 글씨와 반갑다.

 

자옥산 푸근한 산줄기 독락당으로 쏟아붓는 푸른 시선은

반짝이며 빛나는 대청마루를 마주하려는 예후였음을

높은 담장에 가려 둘이 걷기 좁은 골목을 혼자 걸을 때

대청마루 동쪽 세살창문 열고 살창으로 넘실대던 자계를

입질만으로 근질근질하여 공부를 털고 계정으로 나선다.

 

계정을 받치는 너른 바위에서 물고기 노는 것을 보다가

개울 건너 화개산 허리를 휘어 두른 병풍석에 올라 시를 읊는다.

저 위쪽 작은 폭포 주위 탁영대나 그 위의 징심대도

저 아래 용추폭 앞 세심대 속 뜻을 더욱 새겨 맑아지라는데

독락은 홀로 있을 때 더 큰 세계와 만난다면서

시는 계절에 절여 맑은 풍취로 우주의 율려에 든다.

You don't know the joy of solitude read in every season.

First, put to rest the thought of hastily climbing the numaru.
At Oksan Seowon, seeing Chusa's innocent calligraphy first is
The rushing waters of Yongchu, surrounded by sharp blue rocks, are a testament to its strength.
It embraces with an unfathomable, dark stillness.
Taking a few steps, pacing alternately between the upper and lower waters.
Faded red hue remains on the Sesimdae rock inscription, nice to meet you.

 

The green gaze pouring from the gentle ridges of Jaoksan to Dokrakdang is
A prelude to facing the sparkling, radiant daecheongmaru.
Walking alone through the narrow alley, too tight for two, hidden by high walls.
Opening the sesalchangmun on the east side of the daecheongmaru, the flowing stream seen through the lattice window.
Itchy with just a nibble, shaking off study and stepping out to Gyejeong.

 

Watching fish play on the broad rock supporting Gyejeong.
Crossing the stream, climbing the folding screen rock encircling Hwagaesan's waist, reciting poetry.
The small waterfall above, around Takyeongdae or the higher Jingsimdae.
Below, in front of Yongchu Falls, reflecting deeper on the meaning of Sesimdae to purify oneself.
Dokrak claims that solitude connects to a greater world.
Poetry, steeped in the seasons, enters the rhythm of the universe with its clear elegance.

시작 메모

독락당으로 향하는 길이다. 서둘러 누마루에 오르고 싶은 마음을 잠시 접어둔다. 옥산서원에서 마주한 추사의 글씨가 먼저 나를 맞이한다. 시퍼른 바위에 둘러싸인 용추의 물살이 깊이를 알 수 없는 먹먹함으로 다가온다. 세심대의 바래진 붉은 글씨와 마주하며 시간의 흐름을 느낀다.

자옥산의 푸른 품이 독락당을 감싸안은 모습이 눈앞에 펼쳐진다. 높은 담장 사이로 난 좁은 골목을 홀로 걸으며, 세살창문 너머로 비치는 자계의 물결이 나를 유혹한다. 공부의 무게의 힘이 들때면 잠시 내려놓고 계정으로 발걸음을 옮긴다.

너른 바위에 앉아 물고기의 유영을 바라본다. 화개산을 휘감은 병풍석에 올라 시심을 심는다. 탁영대, 징심대, 세심대를 거치며 고요히 사색에 잠긴다. 홀로 있음이 오히려 더 큰 세계와의 만남임을 깨닫는다. 계절의 변화와 함께 시의 맑은 풍취가 우주의 율려와 하나가 되어간다.

This is the path leading to Deoklakdang. I put aside my desire to quickly climb up to the Numaru. The calligraphy of Chusa that I encountered at Oksan Seowon greets me first. The water current of Yongchu, surrounded by blue rocks, approaches with an unfathomable depth. I feel the flow of time as I face the faded red letters on Sessimdae.

The blue embrace of Mt. Jaoksan surrounding Deoklakdang unfolds before my eyes. Walking alone through the narrow alley between high walls, the waves of Jagye visible through the latticed windows tempt me. When the weight of studying becomes heavy, I briefly set it aside and move my steps to Gyejeong.

Sitting on a wide rock, I watch the swimming fish. I climb the folding screen-like rocks wrapping around Hwagae Mountain to plant poetic thoughts. I fall into quiet contemplation while passing through Takyeongdae, Jingsim-dae, and Sesim-dae. I realize that being alone is actually a greater encounter with the world. The clear poetic charm changes with the seasons and becomes one with the rhythm of the universe.
