봄꽃의 숙명처럼

봄눈처럼
금방쌓여 길이 막힐 것 같다가도
짐짓 시침떼며 흔적 없이 녹아버리는
이른 계절의 혼란

꽃이 그렇다 하였던가
터질 듯 부풀어 머물 듯 하다가도
길을 나서면 무수히 짓밟혀 뒹구는
낙엽과 같은 이지러진 흔적들로
마땅히 꽃봉오리 펼친 채 떨어뜨리지 못하고
봄눈처럼 녹아서야 지쳐
자취도 없이 흩날려야 할 운명

어이 후회처럼 몸 하나 지킬까
살짝 얼굴 들이민 채 꺽이고 말
봄꽃의 숙명이라면
높은 절벽에
세찬 바람이라도 빌려
꽃이었을 때 꺾여 날았으면
아 그랬더라면

Like spring snow
That seems to pile up quickly and block the road
Pretending indifference, melting away without a trace
The confusion of an early season

Was it said that flowers are like that
Swelling as if about to burst, lingering as if to stay
But when stepping out, trampled and scattered countless times
Like the tattered traces of fallen leaves
Unable to properly bloom and fall as buds
Only to melt away like spring snow, exhausted
Destined to scatter without a trace

How could one protect oneself like regret
Slightly peeking out, only to be broken
If it is the fate of spring flowers
On a high cliff
Borrowing even a fierce wind
If it had been broken and flown while still a flower
Ah, if only it had been so

시작 메모

창밖에 봄눈이다. 설레는 마음 금세 녹는다. 봄눈은 덧없이 가슴을 먹먹하게 한다. 꽃망울이 터지기도 전에 스러지는 봄꽃의 운명과 닮았다. 창가에 기대어 봄눈과 봄꽃의 순간성을 곱씹는다.

설렘과 기대는 언제나 절정에 이르렀다가 스러진다. 길가에 떨어진 꽃잎들이 발걸음에 짓밟힌다. 절벽 위 세찬 바람 속 꽃잎 또한 안타깝다. 가슴이 시리다.

후회와 미련이 뒤섞인 봄날의 감정이다. 절정의 순간을 놓친 꽃의 아쉬움은 나를 닮았다. 봄꽃의 숙명을 새긴다. 봄바람에 흩날리는 꽃잎처럼 세상의 많은 것은 흩날리며 지난다.

Outside the window, it's spring snow. The fluttering heart melts away quickly. Spring snow fleetingly makes the heart heavy. It resembles the fate of spring flowers that wither before their buds even bloom. Leaning against the window, I reflect on the fleetingness of spring snow and spring flowers.

Excitement and anticipation always reach their peak and then fade away. Petals fallen on the roadside are trampled underfoot. The petals in the fierce wind atop the cliff are also pitiful. My heart aches.

It is the emotion of spring days, mixed with regret and lingering attachment. The regret of a flower missing its peak moment resembles me. I engrave the destiny of spring flowers. Like petals scattered by the spring breeze, many things in the world scatter and pass by.
